Thomas Ianello is the Educational Technology Specialist. With a strong background in digital media communications and systems administration, and a passion for technology and environmental education, his primary focus is implementing and facilitating Unity’s vision for a future-proof multimedia production lab that will enable faculty and staff to create engaging content for any conceivable purpose. Additionally, Thomas is responsible for optimizing and troubleshooting Unity’s learning management system, Canvas, along with managing HyFlex classroom technology at Unity locations, both of which are critical to student and faculty success. As a creative technologist, Thomas has worked with nonprofits and marketing agencies to further their outreach and engagement efforts through content creation and brand stewardship, as well as developing forward-thinking solutions for optimizing operational workflows through collaborative platforms, automation frameworks, and user empowerment initiatives.
